Access to the Voter Registry
Starting immediately, you can view the voter registry in person at the öh mci office during business hours.
The provisional voter registry can also be viewed online at the following link (from April 3, 2025, through April 8, 2025): https://wahlportal.oeh.ac.at
To do so, the student must verify his or her identity using ID-Austria.

Absentee voting
Questions & Answers
Is absentee voting possible?
Yes. However, only the university student council and the national student council can be elected by mail-in ballot. The student council can only be elected in person.
You can apply for an absentee ballot on the Federal ÖH website: https://wahlportal.oeh.ac.at/request-postal-vote
PLEASE NOTE: If voting is conducted by mail, you cannot vote for the student representative either in person or by mail!
When is the deadline for applying for an absentee ballot?
You can apply for an absentee ballot up to one week before the first election day, that is, by May 6, 2025.
Where must the absentee ballot be submitted?
The absentee ballot can simply be dropped into any mailbox.
STV Elections
The same polling places and voting hours apply to the election of program representatives as to the rest of the ÖH election.

Absentee voting
It is not possible to vote by mail for the STV. The student representative can only be elected in person.

Is it possible to vote by mail for the student body representatives?
No. Only the university student representatives and the national student representatives can be elected by mail-in ballot. The student representatives for individual degree programs can only be elected in person.
